Late last year our shelter manager,
Margaret Varner came up with an idea that on its face seemed
"too much" but she wouldn't let go of it. Her firm
belief that an upscale fund raising dinner/auction could and
would work, even in a struggling economy, convinced the board
of directors to give her the green light and the "Fur Ball"
was born.
After months of planning and
a hours of hard work Margaret, Marcia Moffatt, Mary Jane Manzi
and Angie Burger spearheaded a team second to none to put on
a first class, fun and financially successful event that leaves
the words "thank you" seeming quite inadequate.
So rather than write about it,
we would like to share some photos from this very special event.
