Animeals gets funding from the Banfield Charitable Trust.

The Rogue Valley Humane Society (RVHS) has been awarded a grant from the Banfield Charitable Trust to help with our newest community outreach program, Animeals. Homebound pet owners, who are enrolled in the Animeals program, will receive weekly pet food parcels. They will be delivered by RVHS volunteers at no cost to the pet owner. We will try to include a combination of dry and canned food in each parcel and treats, if available.

It is a way for RVHS to help our community’s homebound individuals take care of their pets more easily. If you are a homebound pet owner and want to be included in this new rogram, please contact RVHS at 541-479-5154 for an enrollment packet.

This program can only be successful through pet food donations. There are several ways you can help RVHS with this program:

-We need volunteers to join our Animeals team as drivers or to help package the food parcels for delivery.

-You can help fill the Animeals food bins at your local businesses selling pet food.

-Your community organization or group can also collect pet food donations for our program.

Please call us for more information about helping RVHS make this program a success!
