The animals of Josephine County
say paws up to the Banfield Charitable Trust
for supporting the RVHS Animeals Pet Food Program.
When times are hard and you need a helping hand the last thing you need to hear is “sorry we’re out”. Our food bank was depleted and we were facing having to turn away the families that needed our help! Our food bank supplies hundreds of families with food for their beloved pets, and when we run out they have no food for their pets.
This week Mini Pet Mart came through for us and the families we assist! The families and Rogue Valley Humane Society are extremely grateful for the support and generosity of Mini Pet Mart, many belly’s will be full because of their paw-some donation!
A big Paws UP Mini Pet Mart for having a big heart and caring about the animals!
♥ Happy National Volunteer Week ♥
To the volunteer that gives time from home whether locally or from out of town, to the volunteer that creates projects from your heart and gives to RVHS, it’s fundraisers or on site in the kennels or cattery, to the volunteer that quietly appears rain or shine and gives time behind the scenes, to our youngest volunteers that bring so much love with their parent in tow smiling proud, to the volunteer that brings your buddies and kicks out yard work & grounds maintenance in a day, to the volunteer that takes a K9 for a lap or two around the track or cuddles with a kitty in the cattery or gives love to the momma and her babies in ISO, to the family that creates your own RVHS fundraiser at your school, from a birthday or in our community, to the volunteer that is at every fundraiser or community awareness event, to the volunteer that is there when we call-in-need-now, to the volunteer that brings endless bags of food and blankets or pays a much needed vet bill, to our Thrift store volunteers, and to the volunteer that has been here a day, a week, a month or many many years.
♥ Thank You Very Much ♥

♥ Come and meet Caesar and Rudy at Rogue Valley Humane Society ♥
Did you know that February is Spay and Neuter Awareness Month! Millions of pets each year aren’t fortunate enough to find loving homes due to over population. Please spay and neuter your pet!
We also would like to encourage anyone who plans on adopting a cat or dog to go to their local shelter. Every Monday this month we will feature a pet who is in need of a loving home.
Rogue Valley Humane Society is proud to share with you the impact we made as a community at saving the lives of companion animals in our area. Since we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses, our accomplishments could only happen with your help financially.
So we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to you, for your support and joining us in our mission of saving lives. We look forward to 2016 and hope to save many more pets in our community!
Here’s a way to keep you and your pet in shape and to raise money for RVHS all at the same time! Sign up for the app WoofTrax.com and choose the Rogue Valley Humane Society to support.
