Scheduling a Spay/Neuter Appointment

 

HOW TO REQUEST SPAY/NEUTER APPOINTMENT

  • Please read our pet requirements and FAQ’s prior to scheduling appointment.
  • RVHS schedules appointments three months in advance and it fills up quickly.
  • Please do not send multiple emails to request an appointment.  We respond to requests in the order they are received.  Be SURE to check your SPAM folder for our response!
  • Service deposit is required after appointment is made.  RVHS request for payment will be sent via Square invoice separately from your electronic consent form.  

 Note: Requests must be finalized by RVHS staff. We will respond as soon as possible, but it could take up to 5 business days, as we are only open 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday).

Helpful Hints:

  • Owner information and name of each pet is required to be able to proceed with scheduling.
  • Limit 3 pets per family a day.
  • Animal Name: If unknown, enter “Dog” or “Cat”.
  • Sex: If unknown, choose Female.
  • Age & Weight: Estimates are okay.
  • Breed: We need your best guess, not “Mutt.” For cats, you must choose either Domestic Short Hair, Domestic Medium Hair, or Domestic Long Hair.

 

 

  • Each pet will receive a separate consent form.
  • Please verify that your male dog/cat have both testicles descended. Please add a note that he does not have both testicles (Cryptorchid). Your appointment may need to be rescheduled if we determine the day of surgery that they are cryptorchid, the procedure may take longer. If you are unsure, just choose female for the appointment. Leave a note indicating your pet is a male, but you are unsure if they have both testicles.
  • To add additional services such as vaccines, microchip or e-collar.


 

Schedule Your Pets Appointment

Please be patient as this process takes time, but we will get to you as quickly as possible. Once we have all your information (see below), we will email you an available appointment date. Once you have accepted the appointment date, we will send you an invoice via Square for your deposit of $20 for each cat and $50 for each dog. When your deposit has been received we will then send you a digital consent form. Our consent form will be sent to you in a sperate email. Please read all the terms and conditions and then click “I agree”. Once our form has been uploaded, please read each section and click the boxes that apply to your pet(s). After all the terms and conditions have been read you may digitally sign the document and then click “Send to Clinic” at the bottom of the document. Once we receive your completed consent form signed your  appointment will be secured.

  • Please note: At this time, we are unable to accept appointment requests via phone or mail. The only way you can secure an appointment at our clinic is via email.
