Rogue Valley Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic

About RVHS Spay/Neuter Clinic

Starting in 2010, Rogue Valley Humane Society (RVHS) made the commitment to alter all pets that entered our facility before adoption. We wanted to make an impact in our community by reducing the number unwanted litters, we wanted to be part of the solution and not the problem.

Fast forward to 2018, we opened our in-house spay/neuter clinic for the pets at the RVHS facility, shortly after that we extended our spay/neuter services to other rescues. This made a great impact to our local shelters/rescues by reducing the wait time for pets waiting to be adopted in the shelter.

We didn’t stop there!! Mid 2024, we made the commitment to open to the public spay/neuter services! Our high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter clinic is funded through donations from our wonderful community! We couldn’t do this without you, thank you!

Scheduling Requirements

A pre-signing of consent form and a non-refundable deposit of $20 for cats and $50 for dogs will be required to secure your appointment slot. This money will be added as a deposit into your account. One of our team members will contact you once your appointment request has been received. If you have not received confirmation from us within 5 days of appointment request, please check your spam folder.

Why a Non-Refundable Deposit?

RVHS has been experiencing a huge number of last-minute cancellations for rescheduling & no-shows. This has forced up to implement our non-refundable policy. This REALLY hurts the community because we still have a significant backlog of pet parents desperate to get their animals into the RVHS clinic.

Note: If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please email us by noon on the Thursday prior to your appointment to cancel/reschedule. If your appointment is rescheduled within this time frame, your deposit will remain in your account for 3 months. If you cancel your appointment with proper notice, your deposit will be refunded.

A $2 processing fee will be applied to all refunded payments. All funds through appointment cancelations will be transferred into our “Spay it Forward” fund.
